This post is my submission to Cee’s Black&White Photo Challenge. Every week, Cee Neuner from Cee’s Photography hosts a couple of challenges on her blog. One of them is exclusively for black&white photos. In other words, it is the right challenge for me.
There are other challenges, too, like Cee’s Daily Flower Challenge. Go check them out if you like. You’ll find the link below.
This week’s topic in Cee’s Black&White Photo Challenge is “In the Distance.” I chose my image “Walker’s on the Beach #8”, I think for obvious reasons. I took it in May 2018 on the island of Amrum in the North Sea. It is known for its extensive beaches which are more almost 2km wide (not long!). Walking there is like being on another planet. Therefore, it is one of my favorite places ever.
I think you’ll agree that there’s a certain atmosphere on that beach which I intended to reflect in the image. I am planning to publish a gallery of photographs from Amrum in the not too distant future. Feel free to subscribe to this blog or my newsletter if you want to get notified.
If you are interested in participating in one of Cee’s challenges, too, please head over to Cee’s Website by clicking on the banner below.
