Global Tiger Day
It has almost become common knowledge that tigers and lions don’t fare to well on this planet. In fact, they are critically endangered and some tigers are close to extinction.Tigers are threatened by man-induced habitat loss, conflicts with other humans who don’t want them nearby and the effects of climate change (check out this site for more detailed information). Organizations and countries all over the planet have partnered support this magnificent cats. But they need all the help we can give them.
The cold-blooded slaughter of Cecil the lion by trophy hunters for mere sport in Africa demonstrates how big the problem really is for lions, too.
