I have just learned that nine of my eleven submissions for the Monochrome Awards 2019 received an honorable mention. Though I always hope to gain some recognition whenever I enter some of my photos in contests like this. This is, after all the reason for entering in the first place. However, I never really expect it to happen. So, I could not be happier tonight due to this unexpected honor. I’d like to thank the folks over at Monochrome Awards 2019 for this kind of positive response. I am looking forward to entering again in 2020. In fact, I have already begun to cull my library for new photos worthy of a competition like this. See you again next year!
The awards span six categories: Nature, architecture, abstract, landscape, wildlife, and fine art photography. Please allow me to celebrate this wonderful occasion by showing you the winning photographs in this gallery. As always, click on one of the images to get to a larger view in an almost distraction-free lightbox, and some additional info about each photograph. Enjoy!
