After their first discovery in 2020, sightings of these shy inhabitants of frost lakes and puddles have decreased significantly. This winter, however, the Ice Entities finally return in more significant numbers. Like their cousins four years ago, they are elusive and shy and, therefore, not easy to find. And as before, they are sometimes cute and sometimes scary, and then sometimes they feel familiar, sometimes strange and alien. Some look like they are curious, others seem surprised or even appear to be angry and annoyed by your interference. However, all of them are as fascinating as ever. From mean little sprites and an icy sibling of the Mad Hatter to a parrot and a platypus, you’ll find creatures that seem to look back at you just like you are looking at them.
